At each site, the CITY teen leaders were asked to sketch a team leader’s body and then fill the body with words that would describe the team leader they would appreciate working alongside. The words were then circled and used to create rules for our teams.

The CITY Teen Leaders at Henry Street on the Lower East Side of Manhattan were invited to attend a town hall meeting given by Council Member A.J. Gerson. The teen leaders attended and shared their community concerns. The Council Member was so impressed that he invited the teen leaders to City Hall for a tour. [...]

On November 1, 2006, the coordinators and supervisors at Henry Street and the WYNN Police Athletic League came together with Joanne Baldini and Barbara Baker of Cornell University to undergo the Public Adventures Training. Our CITY Teen Leaders from Henry Street traveled to Binghamton to tour Binghamton University on Wednesday, January 31st for their Expanding Horizons class. They were pleasantly surprised with the teen leaders from Broome County joined them.
