Cutler Botanic Garden
Cutler Botanic Garden is located on Upper Front St. in Binghamton, NY,
at Interstate 81 Exit 5. Garden tours, conducted by Cornell University Cooperative
Extension - Broome County staff and volunteer Master Gardeners, are scheduled
by request. Visitors are always welcome in the Cutler Botanic Garden. The
garden is open daily from 9:00 a.m. until sunset during the summer, free
of charge. Look for the
brochures located in boxes by each garden within
the Botanic Garden. The brochure describes the plants in that garden and
gives additional information about the garden. The Cornell
University Cooperative
Extension Information Center has hundreds of horticulture brochures and
fact sheets available for a minimal charge. The center is open weekdays
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is located on the second floor of the Main Building,
north of the garden. You are encouraged to visit the Information Center
to obtain information you need for your garden. You can call the Information
Center at 607-772-8953. Cornell University Cooperative Extension has a Horticulture
Response Line to call with your questions concerning gardening. The number
is 607-772-8958. The line is open April 15 through October 15 on Mondays,
Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to noon. October 16 through April
14, the line is open Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
